First of all, I want to thank everyone who made it out. It was incredible to see everyone and I think for the first time, my wife caught a glimpse of the camraderie that we have with each other. Not matter how long you worked there, or from what era, there was a certain magic that existed there at 75 Park Place. Maybe the world was a more innocent place, maybe it was the fact that we worked down in the dungeon, or maybe that is just how New York City is. I, for one told a few people that out of all the places that I have lived over the last 25 years, none compares to here, and no place have I made better friends or longer lasting friendships than at 75 Park. This night was proof of the magic that can happen when you break down the walls, pull together, and never let go....
Let's do this again in the spring, at a park somewhere, bring the kids, and make sure that everyone has enough time to plan ahead and be there. This is life folks, real life, and we have to take from it all that we can, especially the friendships that we share.
